[218] Electron Spectrum Import and Models
Import trapped electron spectra from
other sources, for example the CRRESELE software, into Space Radiation.
Use any electron spectrum, including the sample fission spectrum, for total
dose and dose-depth calculations.

This package contains two modules for creating electron spectra within
Space Radiation. The spectra may then be used in all other Space Radiation
functions including dose-depth curves and
solar cell damage equivalents.
- Trapped Electron Import
- Use this function to import electron spectra, including trapped protons
and electron spectra from artificial sources. In particular you can import
results from the CRRESELE software.1
- Electron Spectrum Models
- This function creates fission electron spectra models. You supply the
integrated electron fluence (electrons/cm²). Additional models may be added
in the future.
The import function provides options that will simplify the
import procedure and increase its utility:
- Files may be either integral or binned (histogram)
spectra.
- A conversion factor is provided for translating your fluence units into electrons/cm².
- A conversion factor is provided for translating your energy units into MeV.
- Optional mission duration may be specified.
